To do this, we have to sell the house quickly, but before that, empty the house of 60 years of memories and life. It was gut wrenching. There were not enough time or hours in the day for our family members to go through it all ourselves and we were overwhelmed. Paul's assessment of our home and memories was respectful, kind, honest, and thorough. The timing was perfect. He was confident and strategic, reassuring us at each concern. He kept us up to date with every step in the process. The team assigned to our house was extremely thorough, organized, and clean. (They found things we didn't even know existed! lol) The money that was brought in from the estate sale is going to my grandparents' care, so we were hoping for as much as possible. Their prices on the items in the house were fair for the customers as well as for us. Finding the balance between selling used items and someone's memories is difficult, but this team did it with grace. They had a multitude of watchful eyes on everything in the home during the entire 4-day estate sale, being sure to be helpful and diligent with everyone who walked through - sporting their iconic pink shoes and shirts! They organized the house making it easy for people to walk through and pay at the end. After the estate sale, WINGS made sure to sell any remaining items to other collectors/etc. Some of the hardest things for family members to deal with in these situations are the most mundane, like cleaning the house. The WINGS team cleaned the house from top to bottom, baseboard to ceiling, fridge to cabinets - leaving it 100% ready for the realtor to take over in the next step of the process. The entire team was there as a shoulder to cry on, a clear head to strategize, and to be more hands than we have to help in this horrible time. Estate Sales by Wings ran our estate sale last weekend, and did an excellent job, as promised. They completely cleaned and displayed all our for-sale belongings (which was virtually everything) prior to the actual sale. They completely cleaned the house, too. Wings advertised the sale several days before the estate sale, and hundreds and hundreds of people showed up on both days. Most of the stuff sold, at good prices for the sellers and buyers alike. Wings thoroughly cleaned the entire house afterwards and processed our proceeds expeditiously. She had treasures from around the world and the Wings Team ensured that the sale was prompt, smooth, and beautifully done. Paul was not the first company I interviewed for my estate sale, but I knew right away that he was the right choice. He set up a schedule on that very day, and he kept to it. His large fantastic crew arrived on their scheduled day and went straight to work. It was obvious they had done this many times before and knew exactly what to do.
