This home offers a stunning view of the mountains, the river in Durango, and the sound of the Silverton train. It is one of the best locations Estate Sales by Wings has held a sale.
Upon entering, you’ll see two grandfather clocks with delicate chimes. One evokes Alice In Wonderland, while the other brings back memories of your grandparents’ home and the bedtime chime at 9:00 pm.
Before you continue your treasure hunt, know that our client’s mom was a meticulous artist and collector of beautiful items. She collected Fostoria, Waterford, Avon glass, red glass, uranium glass, black glass, milk glass, Geos, vintage toys, teacups, porcelain cups, wine glasses, and more. We have an amazing Murano Glass chandelier. This home features the largest collection of Fostoria crystal we’ve ever offered, all in perfect condition. If you’re looking for stained glass, we have plenty beautifully arranged and shining brilliantly.
The furniture in this home includes two curio cabinets suitable for displaying glass items. The dining room table and hutch are well-matched. The bedrooms feature unique and attractive furniture items, including two distinctive cabinets and a dresser with a mirror. The chairs are in near perfect condition, including two matching big sitting chairs and a massage chair, that is perfect for working the kinks out following the unloading of your new treasures.
If you are interested in lamps, please arrive early. We have a variety of lamps available, including Tiffany-style lamps, crystal lamps, floor lamps, desk lamps, and many other types.
The kitchen contains a collection of porcelain items, including teacups, salt and pepper shakers, sugar and creamer sets, among others. It also has pots and pans, dishes, and most of the glass items previously discussed. Additionally, there is an antique buffet and vanity on display, which may be of interest to those who appreciate antiques.
Proceed to the basement, where you will find a Christmas room adorned with exquisite decorations. Additionally, it houses vintage toys and Native American artwork, including pottery, paintings, and kachinas. The lower level also features elegant furniture, along with a collection of gnomes and vintage 45 records. Stepping out the back door leads to a yard furnished with patio furniture, a distinctive vodka bottle wind chime, a fountain, and various other items.
The garage contains additional items that could not be accommodated inside the house. If you find an item you wish to purchase, please ask an individual in a pink shirt to take it to the hold table. For larger items, we can open the garage door and assist with loading them into your vehicle.
